Sorties de Bain festival show|
Theater, circus, storytelling, dance and comedy are on the program for the Sorties de Bain festival! Street performers invade Granville to offer free shows to the 63,000 annual visitors.
Every year, extreme swimmers take part in a spectacular sporting event: Le Tour du Roc à la Nage! It’s a sporting, festive and convivial event that takes place every July in Granville.
Since the 1st edition in 2008, the Association des Amis de l’Abbaye de la Lucerne has been offering a series of concerts that have made the Festival musical de La Lucerne famous, in an original program featuring musicians of national and even international stature.
To celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic Games taking place during the summer of 2024, the company Tourner la Page and the multidisciplinary arts venue Le Leurre are organizing Les Enjambées. Two events on the program:
The concept: celebrating culture and sport.
In 2024, Normandy pays tribute to all those soldiers and civilians who perished, while celebrating the collective joy of freedom regained thanks to them. The liberation of Normandy began on the famous day of June 6, 1944, and Granville and the surrounding area was liberated on July 31, 1944. To celebrate this liberation, several communes are organizing events, exhibitions and commemorations.
Back to Viking times for a weekend! Viking and medieval market, conferences, lots of entertainment and on-site catering at theAbbaye de La Lucerne d’Outremer.
In the last week of July, just a stone’s throw from the sea in Jullouville, the GRANDES MARÉES festival takes place. Every year, a program of contemporary music is organized, featuring some of the biggest names in French and international music. Nearly 21,000 festival-goers attend.
Since 2004, the Nuit des Soudeurs has been a showcase for artists who transform scrap metal into sculpture on the port of Granville. The following day, come and purchase your work at auction!
Numerous events on the program for this major summer rendezvous. Synonymous with festivities and good spirits, the festival has its own special highlight: the O.F.N.I (Objets Flottants Non Identifiés) race, its sea carnival, at Saint-Martin-de-Bréhal (Bréhal).
