É.T.É is the result of a meeting between three young musicians with backgrounds in classical, jazz and traditional Quebec music. This new musical formation offers a repertoire of traditional tunes from here and elsewhere, as well as original compositions with a young, unique and varied sound mixing violin, cello, bouzouki, voice, podorythmics and jigs. While their lyrics are all drawn from the traditional repertoire, the majority of their instrumental pieces and song arrangements are original compositions, reflecting the variety of styles they master. With their boundless energy and great on-stage complicity, the three musicians bring a new sound to traditional Quebec music.
