The Chausey archipelago

The largest archipelago in Europe: located 17km off Granville, Chausey is a natural site whose richness has earned it a place in the Natura 2000 network, which helps to preserve its exceptional diversity. The archipelago is subject to the highest tides in Europe.
in Europe: 365 islets appear at low tide, while at high tide around fifty remain above the surface. The result is a constantly changing spectacle and an exceptional landscape for all kinds of activities and discoveries.

Focus on

our protected natural areas.

These activities are often carried out as close to nature as possible, in the heart of protected environments that have been recognised for their biodiversity, adding a sense of eco-responsibility to your stay.

Le Havre de la Vanlée

This is one of eight harbours dotting the west coast of the English Channel. These estuaries combine sandbanks and salt meadows, all framed by large dune massifs. During high tides, from a coefficient of 93 upwards, the sea completely covers the grasslands.
the grasslands. Le Havre can then be explored on the water in a kayak or paddle, and the road that crosses it becomes submersible! There are very few of these in France, and the spectacle is astonishing.
