European Heritage Days

This major cultural event, organized by the French Ministry of Culture since 1984, is designed to enable as many people as possible to discover the wealth of our heritage through original events, unusual tours and exceptional openings in over 50 countries. Tens of thousands of museums, monuments, churches, concert halls, businesses and shops, gardens… open their doors to share their history and their special features. The themes of this year’s European Heritage Days are“Heritage of routes, networks and connections” and“Maritime heritage“.
