- 8:00pm : Free opening concert – Maison du Carnaval
In 2025, Flagrants Délires deébarque for the opening concert of the 151ème Carnaval de Granville! Used to the ferias of the South, these kings of the festive atmosphere share their energy and good humour in every corner of France and soon in Granville. Rock music, lyrics sung in French, always inspired by an eclectic mix of current affairs, humour, derision and more committed subjects, not forgetting feelings… <To get tickets for the opening concert, go to the Granville Terre et Mer Tourist Office, 2 rue Lecampion, at 9am on the two Saturdays preceding the event (15 and 22 February 2025). Be warned, this is the only way to get your hands on one, and the best seats are going fast! A maximum of two places will be allocated to each adult physically present at these distribution slots.
Saturday
1st March 2025- 10:00am: Carnival Market with musical entertainment – Parking de la Poste.
- 2:00pm: Presentation of the keys to the town à his majestyé the King of Carnival on the float of the Demoiselles Granville Terre et Mer – Rond-Point du Calvaire.
- 2:15pm: Departure of the Cavalcade of the children from the Calvaire to the Maison du Carnaval.
- 3.30pm: Children’s Ball with Les Zélectrons Frits – Maison du carnaval
- Free for children, 4 € for accompanying adults.
- 20h00 : Ça tire, le défilé, défilé de costumes en musique – Maison du Carnaval.
- 21h00 : Samedi en fanfares – Départ de la maison du carnaval puis déambulation des fanfares dans toute la ville.
Sunday
2 March 2025- 10h00 : Aubades musicales dans le centre-ville.
- 11h00 : Pot des officiels – Maison du Carnaval.
- 13h30 : La Grande Cavalcade humoristique et satirique – dé unique part du port.
- 19h00 : Pique-nique des carnavaliers – Port et Maison du Carnaval.
- 21h00 : Cavalcade lumineuse – Départ du port.
Monday
3 March 2025- 12:00: Drinks for carnival-goers and partners – Maison du Carnaval.
- 19:00: Dad’s ball – Maison du Carnaval.
- 19:00: Mum’s ball – Salle de Hérel.
No ticket sales: these balls are reserved for people who have contributed to the organisation and distribution of the Carnival floats.
Mardi Gras
4 March 2025- 2pm: Humorous and satirical cavalcade – Départ du Calvaire
- 4.30pm: Judgement and execution of His Majesty the King of Carnival – Place Guépratte and port
- 6pm: Big and small confetti battle with music – Place Guépratte
- Dès 8pm: Intrigues throughout the town.
