The Game Terre & Mer

Since 2019, L’Office de Tourisme Granville Terre et Mer has wanted to create an identity event to boost the Destination’s heritage and cultural sites in a fun way. The Game Terre et Mer thus takes place every year (except during health crises), each time with a new story, in a different era, on a new site, and perhaps even, in a different form. But always in costume, as the Carnaval de Granville is a tradition in the Destination! For this 4th opus, The Game Terre et Mer is a game of enigmas and costumed challenges in the heart of the Château de Chanteloup. The 350 players will have to be brave and perceptive to find the coveted Alliance des Loups and foil the plot against Lord Louis d’Estouteville!

September 1450. Louis d’Estouteville, defender of Mont Saint-Michel, has just regained possession of Chanteloup castle after several years of English occupation. The castle is in a sorry state, as the English troops have searched in vain for a legendary ring: theAlliance of the Wolves. Louis d’Estouteville enlists the help of village adventurer Helga Vital to find the artifact that will restore his power and authority over his vassals. However, if the lord doubts the loyalty of the castle’s inhabitants, he is far from imagining that a plot concerns him and that the threat of the return of English troops looms large. 350 villagers loyal to Louis d’Estouteville will have to help Helga Vital find the alliance, but also investigate to foil the plot. They’ll have just a few hours to save Château de Chanteloup and its lord.
