Viking and Norman village

Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 July 2025

Every year at the Lucerne Abbey, Norman history is given pride of place with the reconstruction of a real Viking camp.

Viking village of

Saint-Olaf

Rounding around the celebration of Saint Olaf, king and patron saint of Norvège, the Abbaye de la Lucerne organises an entire weekend each summer to pay tribute to the Scandinavian heritage and the early founders of Normandy. Camps, re-enactments, battles, crafts… A large part of the Viking and Norman arts are worthily represented here.
