Originally from Normandy, near Bagnoles-de-l’Orne, Harmony has retained from her roots a strong taste for conviviality and simplicity. After graduating with a degree in health management from Caen, she travelled all over France to gain experience. But in 2017, her creative nature got the better of her and she set up her own sewing business, specialising in designs for children. Three years later, in 2020, fate brought her to Granville. It didn’t take long for her to fall under its spell. For this well-travelled woman, Granville felt like a return to her roots: “Here, I rediscover the values I knew as a child, in the warmth and friendliness of the people of Granville Terre et Mer”. Harmony can’t get away from the sea. She likes to run from Donville-les-bains to the harbour, 7 or 8 kilometres, often in the evening, to take in the beautiful light and savour the silence. Her favourite spot? The Lucerne forest, especially in autumn. I love this connection with nature and I have a real passion for trees… When asked about her favourite time of year, Harmony hesitates: the Festival des Sorties de Bain or the Granville Carnival? It’s impossible to choose. “With the children, we have so much fun. We do the four days of the carnival, with a different costume every day” Harmony radiates energy, curiosity and a desire to create links.
“When I landed at the end of Plat-Gousset, with my two children, Enaël and Nélya, we looked at each other and said to ourselves: we’re happy here”, she confides.
