Originally from Caen, Stéphanie has lived abroad for a long time, with ten years of expatriation taking her to the four corners of the world. An adventurer at heart, she has never really had her feet on the ground: “Before settling my bags here, I was either in the air, flying as a stewardess, or on the seabed”, she confides. A diving instructor (N2 initiator), the sea has always been her passion, a blue thread that links the major stages of her life. In December 2022, Stéphanie fell in love with a capital A, not only with a man living in Jullouville, but also with the area he introduced her to. Very quickly, the roles were reversed: from then on, it was she who revealed to him the nuggets of Granville Terre et Mer. Seduced by the gentle way of life along the coast, Stéphanie decided to settle here and establish her business. She opened her beauty studio “La Clinic Beauté” in Jullouville, a place entirely dedicated to well-being. At the same time, she trained in aromatherapy, a discipline that perfectly embodies her philosophy of life: taking care of yourself and others, in the image of a soothing and rejuvenating land. It’s hard for Stéphanie to choose just one place in Destination Granville Terre et Mer. She names three:
- The sunsets on the steps of Jullouville, a moment suspended in the immensity of the landscape.
- The panorama from the Croix Paqueray, with its view as far as Granville and the long sandy beaches as far as the eye can see.
- Chausey, again and again, where time stands still, especially at sunset.
When it comes to events, her favourite is the ” Les Grandes Marées ” music festival, a stone’s throw from her home. “It’s a human-scale event, and we go by bike with Line and Mia. It was their first festival, when they were 6 years old! We feel privileged to have it so close to home. “For Stéphanie, Granville Terre et Mer is above all an experience for the senses:
“The smell of the sea, the wind on your skin, the play of light… it’s a vibrant territory. “
2025 Stephanie AmbassadorAs the mother of two little girls, Line and Mia, I’ve retained a childlike spirit: curiosity, a thirst for discovery and a taste for sharing. As a little girl, I used to go fishing on foot with my mother; today, I continue this ritual with my daughters, in the same spirit of transmission. My first summer in the area will always be engraved in my memory. I discovered Chausey. Then, in the off-season, I took part with my daughters in the activities of the two festivals: Festi-Récré and La Ferme en Folie, and I marvelled at the off-season, that quieter period when local life reveals itself in a different light.
