After 25 years of Michelin-starred cuisine around the world, chef Stéphane Haissant has decided to settle in Granville to write a new, more personal story, by opening his own restaurant: Loca Café.

The cuisine is punctuated by creativity and far-flung inspirations, without ever denying the basics of French cuisine. Product quality is at the heart of every dish, with a strong commitment to responsible gastronomy that respects small-scale producers and the environment.

The chef opts for local suppliers who respect the environment in the way they raise and grow their produce. Meat and dairy products come from local Normandy farms and producers, as do carefully selected vegetables. Seafood, meanwhile, is sourced exclusively from a network of "direct" suppliers located mainly in Normandy and Brittany. The restaurant has been awarded 2 toques by Gault&Millau.
