Granville, France's leading shellfish port!
We invite the general public to discover the world of fishing in Granville. Through 360° visuals, videos and interviews with various players at the fish auction, visitors can discover the different fishing practices, the species fished and the tools used, as well as the management of the stocks that follow the fishermen's landings.

With Bulot de la Baie de Granville (certified IGP and MSC Pêche Durable), Coquille St Jacques de Normandie, Praire de Granville, almond, venus, olivette, crustaceans (spider crab, moussette, MSC-certified Homard du Cotentin, tourteau, étrille), cuttlefish and fish (gilthead bream and other sole, skate, etc.), almost 10,000 tonnes of fish products are landed and sold at the Criée de Granville every year!
The Auction, or Halle à Marée, is the meeting point between the boats landing their catch and the buyers, be they wholesalers, fishmongers or fishmongers.

This is a unique opportunity to discover one of the region?s major economic centers, in addition to the auction?s exceptional opening on the occasion of the "Toute la mer sur un plateau" weekend in October.

On request, a tablet is available to the public at the Jullouville tourist information office for free viewing of the 360° virtual tour of the Criée.
The Granville tourist information office makes the wall-mounted TV touch screen available on request.
The 360° virtual tour is also available by clicking on the link opposite.
