Granville Terre et Mer Tourist Office reinvents itself: a new reception area for the 2024 season
Granville Terre et Mer Tourist Office reinvents itself:

A new form of hospitality for the 2024 season

A new way of welcoming visitors for the 2024 season

Granville Terre et Mer Tourist Office is experimenting with new ways of welcoming visitors, residents and holidaymakers to Donville-les-Bains for the 2024 season. These initiatives are part of a constant desire to provide a tailor-made response to the expectations of the local population and visitors, while promoting a dynamic exchange within the area. From 15 April, the mobile tut tuk will provide an original way of welcoming visitors to the town, and information will be distributed more widely. New features such as a guided tour with breakfast and 2 “Apér’OT” evenings will complete this test for the 2024 season.

The mobile tuk-tuk: an original form of hospitality

Since 2021, visitors who come across the Tourist Office tuk-tuk at various spots in Destination Granville Terre et Mer during the summer have been enthusiastically welcomed. Going out to meet them to tell them about the week’s events as they leave the beach, pointing out the must-sees in the area right at the heart of their campsite, or giving them information about forthcoming markets right at their place of residence… they love anticipating their expectations!

The tuk-tuk already criss-crosses the region and will be even more present in Donville-les-Bains:

    • In front of the town hall on Tuesday mornings in April, May, June, September and October;
    • On the Donville-les-Bains sea wall on Monday mornings in July and August, and at the summer market on Friday evenings from 15 July to 15 August;
    • At the town centre bandstand for the Saturday evening concert in July and August.
More information dissemination

In addition, for those who miss these events, and because a warm welcome and hospitality are the responsibility of all local residents and stakeholders, the Tourist Office’s essential brochures will be deposited regularly in the shops of those who wish to receive them. A QR code to access theTourist Office’s online diary will be distributed to interested Donvillais accommodation providers and shopkeepers.

The Chuchoteurs d’info website dedicated to welcoming visitors to Granville Terre et Mer, launched in 2022 by the Tourist Office, will also be rolled out to all visitors to Donville-les-Bains: town hall staff, seasonal workers in restaurants and straw huts, etc…

New features for Donville-les-Bains in 2024

The “Apér ‘OT ” is a special event reserved for the residents and secondary residents of Donville-les-Bains to present the highlights of the season, as was the case last night with the Gordie Chambers concert. Another is scheduled for 6 July.

And to discover or rediscover this major seaside town in the Destination, renowned for the quality of its beaches and the beauty of its villas, a guided tour with breakfast will be offered every Tuesday morning in July and August (Free – booking essential).
