Theater - For all ages 15 and up.
Dolorès has been hoarding for years, to the point of collapse.
There's the before, the after and the during.
Before, when her husband was still around, when her son helped her with the housework, the shopping, the? When did they leave? Why did they leave? She can't remember.
And then there's the part during the collapse: she's in the kitchen - she remembers that, she was listening to her favorite game on the radio - and she was going to make coffee, yes, probably coffee? Suddenly, there was a loud noise, like a landslide, or an iceberg collapsing into the icy ocean.
Then came the aftermath. When the firemen find her under the rubble? Is she alive or dead? It's all a blur.
The play plays with temporality, just as the disease plays with Dolores' brain.
After, before, during?
Spaces blend together: bedroom, kitchen, ice floe?
The radio asks her intimate questions, a bear crosses space, a doctor keeps an eye on her, and Diogenes invites himself in to criticize her.
Dolorès would like to be left alone. Her hoarding was supposed to protect her from the outside world, but the outside world keeps invading and harassing her.
