Group from Greenland / International tour.
As part of the twinning arrangement between Granville and Uummannaq, a Greenlandic village located on the island of the same name, 600 km north of the Arctic Circle, the inhabitants of the Granville area have a few months to familiarize themselves with the language and culture of this land of icebergs and glaciers, fishing and hunting, where hospitality and respect for nature are paramount. For the "Aluu Le Groenland à Granville" week, the rock band Nanook, formed in 2008, will be performing in France for the first time, with a concert combining melodious rock, pop and traditional Greenlandic music. Tikiluaritsi! Welcome to the world of these Greenlandic idols, the Beatles version of Kalaallisut (the official Greenlandic language)!
