The Compagnie du Marin returns to Carolles to present "Phèdre... à peu près". Two schoolboys condemned by their teacher to learn Phèdre by heart take their revenge and turn into buffoons... But the emotion and poetic beauty of Racine's 5-act tragedy in verse overwhelm them.
In this way, Jean-Charles Lenoël and Maurice Hébert aim not only to make people laugh, but also to help them discover the poetic value of this play in a roundabout way.
