Jean-Paul BLIER, painter.
Resident in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, I produce works on the themes of the Chausey Islands, rigging, Mt-St-Michel and its ever-inspiring bay with its variations in light.
I?m sensitized by atmosphere, and watercolor offers me a wealth of incomparable gradations. Combining dry and wet techniques allows me to let my personality shine through, while combining meticulousness with simplicity.
I also work in oils, using brushes or knives to paint coastal landscapes and still lifes, as well as flowers such as poppies, irises and hydrangeas.
A member of Les Artistes Granvillais and a graduate of the Académie des Arts-Sciences Lettres, I regularly exhibit my work in the south of France, after having taken part in numerous art exhibitions in the Ile de France region, where I met with promising success and won numerous awards.
My reward: to offer visitors who linger over my paintings a little of the pleasure I take in painting.
Free of charge and without reservation.
Opening hours: 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
