I waited until I retired to start painting. It's an artistic pursuit I didn't know much about and wanted to try out. I started with acrylic paint. Then came oil and finally pastel. At present, I prefer pastel. It allows me to deepen my knowledge of drawing. My favorite theme is animal portraits, especially wild ones, and nature. In addition to the well-being that drawing and coloring bring, I've been able to make some wonderful encounters and constructive exchanges. Being curious by nature, I'm currently taking up watercolour painting.

Painting is simply my passion! I've always been drawn to art in all its forms. Hairdressing, which I practiced for 30 years, was already a way of letting my hands express themselves. I wasn't able to devote as much time to painting as I would have liked. Retirement was an opportune moment to start taming the art of the brush. I gained experience from several teachers who taught me different techniques. I've been expressing myself in my paintings for 9 years now. It's a joy for me to be able to share my work with passionate people like myself. Painting has given me some wonderful encounters. I simply hope that this will continue for as long as possible.

I discovered painting ten years ago, at the dawn of my retirement. What began as a hobby soon became a veritable artistic quest. Initially attracted by oils, I explored pencil and pastel, enriching my universe. A native of the region, I draw my inspiration from the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, whose changing lights and atmospheres I love to capture. Horses also play an essential role in my work, embodying freedom and elegance. Guided by my sensibility, I invite contemplation and pursue my creative path relentlessly, convinced that creation is a never-ending journey.
