With a degree in marine biology, Adeline first worked as a quality manager at Normandie Fraicheur Mer, before taking over the auction. Her role is to ensure that every step, from landing freshly caught fish to selling them, runs smoothly. She supervises the sorting and registration of batches, and ensures that the products are ready for transport by post-sale truck. What drives Adeline on a daily basis? The versatility of her tasks and the constant interaction with some twentyagents, as well as fishermen and buyers. ” The administrative side is also an important part of running the fish market,” she explains, stressing the importance of adapting to constantly evolving health standards and regulations.
