The Office de Tourisme Granville Terre et Mer organised the 5th edition of the Rencontres des Acteurs du Tourisme, on Tuesday 25 November 2025, at the Faisanderie in Saint-Pair-sur-Mer, around the theme of “Partners at first sight”. The aim is to continue to encourage meetings between all the players involved in tourism in the Destination: professionals, associations, technicians, accommodation providers, restaurateurs, local producers, activity providers and local institutions, so that they can get to know each other better, exchange ideas and work together to develop tourism offers that are consistent with visitors’ needs and the challenges facing tourism.

inspire, create, unite

Over the course of the day, participants discussed the challenges facing tourism in the Destination and heard from a number of professionals who have set up successful partnerships in Granville Terre et Mer. These included the Avril association and the Tourist Office through skills sponsorship, the Château de Chanteloup and Anthémis Cosmétique, Sébastien Provost from Birding Mont Saint Michel and the Château Lez Eaux campsite, as well as 8 Milles Nautic and Leclerc.

The “meet your ideal partner” session then offered professionals the opportunity to exchange ideas with other players sharing similar needs, issues and objectives. Using the form filled in when registering, the Tourist Office teams were able to establish relevant matches, encouraging meetings, exchanges and the creation of new professional synergies, which were then shared at the plenary session.

The day unfolded in a convivial atmosphere, conducive to exchanges and encounters, enhanced by appropriate decoration, including furniture loaned by Emmaüs, the event’s new partner. This was further enhanced by the use of furniture on loan from Emmaüs, the event’s new partner, which provided a concrete illustration of the importance of joint initiatives at the heart of these Meetings. Ideas for packages combining activities and accommodation emerged, as did exchanges of best practice between peers… It was a day rich in exchanges, which augurs well for future partnerships. The day ended with a cocktail party prepared by students from the Lycée hôtelier Marland, showcasing local produce. The producers were present with stands showcasing their raw produce, which the students used to prepare their dishes, once again illustrating the message of the day: create links and partnerships to qualify, complete and improve your offer.

Ahead of these meetings, a “Climate Fresco” workshop was held at the Pont Bleu restaurant, led by Amandine Launay, CSR advisor at the Tourist Office. The workshop was held in the region’s first restaurant to be awarded the Clé Verte label, and raised awareness of environmental issues among the professionals present, while providing them with keys to understanding climate issues.
