Hand in hand to cut stone

Creating stone, touching history

At La Lucerne Abbey, young and old alike can learn the art of stone carving. Hammer in hand, everyone tests, experiments and has fun creating a shape with their fingers. Children love to manipulate, try out and create… just like real builders.

Proud of your hands that have explored the tools of the past, evoking the gestures that have been passed down from generation to generation, you leave with your block of material. All that’s left to do is display it in your home to show off your sculpting skills!

The market comes alive in the morning, the stalls bursting with colour, the producers sharing their passion, the flavours being discovered as you taste. Children can taste, choose and be amazed as they put together their own baskets.
