Developing bicycle tourism

As part of the Destination France Plan, the Ademe is launching the “Développer le vélotourisme” program, with a budget of around 6.5 million euros.

The actions supported will take part in improving the practice of bicycle tourism in particular by setting up services dedicated to the user such as service areas or the application of the Accueil Vélo brand.

Why sign up for this program?

In 10 years, bicycle tourism has become an increasingly popular tourism and leisure activity. 22 million French peopleclaim to cycle on their vacations, and cycle tourism has become the leading tourist itinerary in France.

This program presents a motivating framework for contributing to responsible tourism and improving the living environment. It will enable you to develop your offer towards ever more qualitative and sustainable services.
