Folligny, a Norman village during the Occupation

Visit organised by Granville Terre et Mer Tourist Office

A major hub of the Lower Normandy rail network in the first half of the 20th century, Folligny was quickly identified as a major target by the German army during its Blitzkrieg in June 1940. From the first deadly raids by enemy aircraft to the jubilation of the Liberation, you will discover how the inhabitants of this small village in the south of Manche lived and survived for four years, under the close surveillance of their occupiers.
