To accompany your pancakes

At Candlemas, crêpes take on a special flavour when accompanied by a good local cider.

At Granville Terre et Mer, a number of passionate producers are perpetuating authentic cider-making know-how, from Normandy orchards and carefully selected apples.

Raw, sweet or semi-dry, their ciders reveal fruity, well-balanced aromas that are the perfect accompaniment to crêpes.

Get cooking!

A pancake batter recipe just for you:

Pour 250g of flour into a bowl, add 3 eggs, then mix gently, adding 50cl of milk a little at a time to avoid lumps.

Add a pinch of salt, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar (and a spoonful of sugar if you like your pancakes really tasty), then finish with a drizzle of oil or a knob of melted butter.

Leave the batter to rest for around thirty minutes, then heat a hot, lightly greased frying pan and cook your crêpes until golden brown. All that’s left is to garnish them as you wish 😉

If you don’t feel like a chef, you can always drop in at one of the region’s crêperies.

The region has some great places where expertise is passed on with passion.
